Headache can be related to the cervical spine. These types of headaches are called cervicogenic headaches.
- Reason- Because of the cervical spine the neck muscles go into the spasm and sometimes this can irritate muscles around the head which can result into the headaches.
- Assessment- The health care providers will perform detailed assessment and will let the patient know whether therapy can help or not. If physiotherapist finds out that the headache is non cervicogenic then physiotherapy might not be appropriate for the patient’s headache.
